Breathe better. Feel the difference.

What is Breathwork?

Breathwork is a practice that uses specific breathing techniques and exercises to improve how you breathe and bring awareness to your breath.

As a Breathe™ Certified Coach, sessions focus on improving breathing patterns, supporting diaphragm function, and helping you feel more balanced physically and mentally.

This method, developed by Dr. Belisa Vranich, is rooted in the anatomy and psychology of breathing and is designed to support more efficient and functional breathing.

In addition to functional breathing, sessions may also include active breathing techniques used as a form of meditation to help release tension and support emotional regulation.

Many people develop inefficient breathing patterns over time, often influenced by posture, stress, or daily habits.

What this work supports:

• Improving focus and concentration
• Supporting physical performance and endurance
• Reducing stress and tension
• Supporting better sleep
• Increasing energy levels
• Easing neck and shoulder tension

Your Session

Before Your Session

We'll begin by discussing your goals and evaluating your current breathing patterns. This helps us determine which techniques are most appropriate for your needs and gives you an opportunity to ask questions before we begin.

During Your Session

You'll be guided through breathing exercises designed to improve breathing mechanics, increase awareness, and support your physical and mental well-being.

Depending on your goals, sessions may include functional breathing techniques, active breathwork practices, or a combination of both.

After Your Session

Many people leave feeling more relaxed, energized, or connected to their breathing. Because breathing habits develop over time, you'll often receive simple exercises to continue practicing between sessions and support long-term progress.

Preparing for Your Session

Bring:

  • Yoga mat

  • Blanket

  • Comfortable clothing

Avoid:

  • Heavy meals beforehand

Note

Breathwork is a complementary approach and is not a substitute for medical or psychological care.
